Biography
Anastasios C. Polimenakos is a Co-Director of the Childrens Hospital of Georgia Heart Center, USA and he is a Director of Congenital and Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery at Childrens Hospital of Georgia. He also was appointed Associate Professor of Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University. He joined GRHealth Childrens Hospital of Georgia (CHOG) as the Chief of Pediatric and Congenital Cardiac Surgery in 2014. He completed a thoracic surgery fellowship at St. Louis University School of Medicine and a clinical fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. He has 18 years of experience. His specialties include Vascular Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Thoracic Surgery and General Surgery. He is affiliated with Augusta University Medical Center, Geisinger Medical Center/Danville and Shamokin Area Community Hospital. Dr. Anastasios C.
