Congenital Heart Defects

A congenital heart defect is a problem present at birth with the structure of the heart. Congenital heart defects are majorly occurring birth defects, which  involve the valves of the heart, arteries and veins near the heart.

They also distort  the normal flow of blood through the heart to the organs such that the blood flow can slow down and go in the wrong direction or can be blocked completely.

  • Increased blood sugar levels
  • Aortic valve stenosis
  • Atrial septal defect
  • Patent ductus arteriosus
  • Coaractation of aorta
